Hampshire Player Rules

  1. Hampshire is in what the EPA (English Pool Association) call Region Seven, which comprises Berkshire, Greater London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire.

  2. Before you can play for the County, we have to register you with Region Seven and the EPA, which entails two passport size photographs and a registration fee of £7 + £2 for photographs payable to the County.

  3. We play the other five counties on a home and away basis over a period of ten months, which starts in February through to November, usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

  4. The County runs men's A, B and C teams, also Ladies and Junior teams (we must have a copy of any youth player's birth certificate).

  5. There is a match sub of £1.50 per game.

  1. There is a dress code for county matches:

    • County shirt, white shirt/blouse, polo shirt.

    • Shirts/blouses must be tucked in whilst you are playing.

    • Dark Trousers/slacks/skirt.

    • Dark shoes.

    • No jeans, shell or track suits.

    • No pumps, plimsoles or trainers.

    If you turn up in any banned clothing you will not be allowed to play.

  2. The cost of a county shirt is £15.
